Mr. Bado is Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO at EFC. Mr. Bado has more than 15 years of investment banking, financial analysis and accounting experience. Prior to joining EFC, Mr. Bado was Vice President and Director of Operations at Johnson Capital Markets LLC, the investment banking affiliate of Johnson Capital. Prior to this, he was a Vice President at Capmark Securities. Both Johnson Capital Markets and Capmark Securities structure and place debt and equity financing for owners of hotels, shopping centers, self storage facilities and apartment portfolios. In these roles, he completed the due diligence, structuring, underwriting and investment presentations for over $2.5 billion of completed transactions. Prior to this, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their consulting and audit practices. On the consulting side, he specialized in company valuation with a focus on public integrated oil and gas companies, including ExxonMobil and Texaco. While on the audit side, he completed and led audit and agreed-upon procedures engagements for a range of private and public clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Bado maintains his CPA and holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses. Mr. Bado is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
