Mark Sampson is CEO of EFC and Managing Partner. He has over 33 years of structured finance and tax credit experience. His firms have raised in excess of $5 billion of municipal notes and bonds, corporate debt, equity and tax credit funding for a wide range of clients. He holds FINRA Series 7, 23, and 63 licenses.
Chris Tyson is co-founder and Managing Partner of EFC. For the past 37 years, Mr. Tyson has founded, managed and/or invested in a variety of businesses, including satellite distributed programming, cable TV, hotel and healthcare private interactive television networks, real estate, a children’s animation focused motion picture studio, and solar energy.
Jay Bado is Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO at EFC. Mr. Bado has more than 16 years of investment banking, financial analysis and accounting experience. Prior to joining EFC, Mr. Bado was Vice President and Director of Operations at Johnson Capital Markets LLC, the investment banking affiliate of Johnson Capital. Prior to this, he was a Vice President at Capmark Securities.
Marshall Hammond supports Business Development and Operations at EFC. Prior to EFC, Mr. Hammond spent 9 years at Dell, Inc. in Austin, Texas and Xiamen, China where he served as a consultant on the Chairman’s Office Corporate Strategy team.
Ben Benya is Director of Marketing at EFC. Mr. Benya is a marketing, advertising and brand development leader with more than 37 years of experience. Prior to joining EFC, Mr. Benya held senior executive positions in both media and strategic planning.
